📰 In the Financial Times - Mark Swetman chief executive of LS Estates has signed the latest letter from UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) calling on Rishi Sunak to ensure the Levelling up and Regeneration Bill delivers on #netzero emissions and restoring #nature.
We joined a coalition of #business leaders in signing the letter, which urges #government to place #sustainability at the heart of the #planning system in England through the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill.
As the letter states, both the Climate Change Committee and Chris Skidmore MP’s Mission Zero Review have concluded that “integrating climate goals into the planning system is critical to meeting our commitments.”
